So our Bowhunting org sent out a survey in response to a hunting accident last year involving a ML and Archer. There were several options being thrown around but the one that stuck out to me was.
"5. Separate archery and muzzleloader seasons entirely (no overlap in dates)."
This seems to be the best option in my mind. I never understood why there is overlap. I'd rather have 3 solid gun free weeks than 4, with a gun season in the middle. Plus, I too was nearly a victim 4 years ago due to a ML incident.
Your take?
