New Mexico 16A in 2 weeks, any local updates?

I can't believe that it is almost here, but in 2 weeks time I will be chasing some elk down in NM 16A. I have heard that the area has been getting quite a bit of rain recently. Anyone from the area have any recent weather updates? How has the heat and rain been compared to other years?

We have had "a lot of rain" but understand that that is a relative statement. I don't know where you are coming from but look at rain totals to understand what that actually means. Good Luck!!!!
