Well the snow is stacking up in the nwest cornerLots of 3 hr ascends several medium bucks, one shooter too far and friend Scott put the tikka down on a heavy tined cabinet Muley...good times with friends and on to the last week Saturday with more snow stacking up. The deer were rutting ok but not going crazy yet. Maybe I am being too picky This year may eat lots of tags and that is ok
Was able to work off all the turkey dinner and then some Other than lots of climbing, great views and times with an up and coming killer no opps other than a last minute whitey that I waived off I can say at 54 my training paid big dividends this season covering an unknown amount of miles and elevation gain. other than a slight back spasm on my idaho rifle tag that cost me a week of hunting everything went as expected physically. We cant have do overs and can only look to next season. Never to early to start planning and prepping the body. Don’t skip a hunting season if at all possible as days afield will never be regretted
Not sure of the model but it is made by Polar. The heart rate monitor will give you 4-6 hrs of use depending on temp and then will keep your step and mile total. It has many levels of data you can view and was $150. You simply recharge with computer and it uploads data into computer when charging within app provided by polar. After one year and taking a lot of abuse still waterproof and sweat proof
