East of Signal Butte - no bugles, but I saw two cows (one on private land) and four or five does. Found some tracks and scat, but only one pile was fresh. No rubs. Weather was in the 30 - 40's and windy up top of the ridges. No snow, but a lot of yellow trees. Pretty! There were a fair number of ATVs/bikes out too, and a few trucks too. The good news is that I found my spot, after a lot of hiking. I know 511 doesn't have the highest success rate, but it will have to do for this season - I need to stay close to home.
