Co gmu 231

So after our initial screw up and looking over the maps GMU 231 looks fairly similar to GMU 12. I was looking into the Fish Creek area hiking in from that bend on Dunckly Pass. Is anybody familiar with this area and or GMU and care to chime in? No horses no ATV coming in from NH humping everything on our backs.

There's elk there if there isn't sheep, stay away from the sheep and stay away from where the sheep just were. Don't hike to far or you'll end up on private property or at the next road!

Sheep are a PITA! Elk dont like them but i find them within a half mile of sheep sometimes. Them damn sheep dogs are also a PITA!. Like oldgoat said...there are elk in there. Find the dark timber and water. good thing about sheep is they make nice trails and keep the vegetation from getting out of control.
