Scent Control?

Lol my only scent worries on a 10 day elk hunt is when my brother and I can’t stand to be in the tent with each other anymore. All the scent control measures in the world are thrown out the window a half hour into crawling over blowdown or climbing a 500 ft bluff. Just try to keep the wind in your as best you can and don’t over worry.

I take the dead down wind packets into the back country for no other reason than to squelch my funk in order to tolerate myself.

I spray down with dead down wind but I don't believe it does much. Playing the wind is key, I always carry a wind checker (smoke in a bottle).

The bathing is strictly for your hunting partners in my opinion! Wind in your face and elk in front of you or laterally to you is the only thing that works!
