Maybe this is just a "one off" situation, but have any of you dealt with them? My buddy bought a new Mountain Ascent in 280 AI and mounted a Swaro scope on it. Took it to the range and ran out of windage adjustment. He took it to a very knowledgeable guy to try to help figure out what was going on and discovered that the scope mount holes are drilled out of alignment. They are out enough that when you place a 3' straight edge on the screws it runs off the end of the barrel. They contact Kimber and get it sent in for inspection and tell him they'll get a new gun out to him. Well they sent his gun back and say there is nothing wrong, he takes it to the store he bought it from and they confirm there is an alignment issue. I guess their next step is to get the factory rep involved although I'm not sure how he'll help. Anyone else have any issues like this with Kimber.
