I like the Leupold VX3 2.5-8 w/B&C for calling on my .223 Kimber Montana.......I like bolt actions.

I put 3x9 Burris fullfield with lighted reticle, the old style with the battery housing and switch on top near eye box. I like this for calling as it's great for typical ranges yotes respond to calling. I found I was able to keep my zero .5" low at 100 and was within an inch to 400 yards, the limits I think w 223.

Missed a few that came within 25 yds tho, so i also mounted a fast fire II on a 45 degree angle using a jp mount. Kinda like jerry milchilk does, only I mount forward the ejector for better field of view.

I recognize that AR :)

Great feedback so far guys, keep it coming.

I'm heading out to do a little calling Saturday with a buddy on the east side of the mountains and I'm going to use one of my Nightforce SHV's for now. It's the 4-14x56 that I reviewed before. We'll see how I like it for this use and maybe it will stay on that rifle. I will still need a scope for the new AR either way though and I really want them to match eventually.
