270 WSM and 145 Hornady ELD X

Has anyone played with this combo yet? I have a bunch of r26 that I am hoping/planning on using and hitting 3200 FPS out of a 24" barreled tikka.

Anyone played around with the 270wsm and the swift scriocco?

I shoot this round and it has been great on paper and steel. I have not had the chance to use it on a critter yet, but it is very accurate out of my 24" remington 700. I found it really easy to load for and achieved some real good speeds. My first load that showed signs of high pressure had sightly flattened primers and the chrono was reading 3230 using H4831SC. I since backed off a little to get below 3200 FPS for PRS shooting and also to eliminate any signs of excessive pressure. My current load runs @ 3140 and shoots sub moa, I can not wait to smack a Coues deer with it in October.

HuntHarder how far off the lands are you? Was this bullet depth sensitive or pretty forgiving on seating depth?
