New 260 Carbon Hunter

Have been asked to share this with you guys. My new backcountry build in 260 Rem
Rem 700 blue printed action ( not a older rifled action, brand new) with PTG fluted bolt.
Chris Reid Frozen Fiber 22" 1:8 RH twist barrel threaded for suppressor and muzzle brake
Jewell trigger
Mc Millan Edge stock pillar and glass bedded.





Shooting Swift Scirocco's in 130 grain 2827 f/s
39.5 g of IMR-4064
CCI BR 2 primers
Lapua 260 Rem brass

shootong 1/4 MOA to 400 yds so far ( Used a NF 4-14X50 SHV for conformation of shots)
topped with Talley LW med rings and Swaro Z3 4-12X50 BT plex Scope with custom turret out to 575 yds. was topped with a Leupy V6 but new set up weighs 7.5 lbs loaded

I am in the parts gathering phase for a similar build, so far have a newish Remington action, Christensen arms carbon 20" barrel and Timney trigger, standard bottom metal. Just going round and round with a stock choice and just how lightweight I need it to be.

I also have a extra Z3 Swarovski scope with BT turret and 4W reticle for wind hold. I would sell.

260, 6.5, 7 mag, 7mm-08 (AI?). Not 100% sure, it's a few years down the road. Currently mostly archery hunt.

I'm planning a 260 rem, though I'm extremely tempted to go for a .260 terminator like Sam Millard : )
