Storm has a different (better) stock and magazine system. The LWH is built to be light weight and does not have an accustock and the magazine system is the same as the axis series. Storm has the new accustock with lop and comb adjustment and the weather warrior style of magazine/bottom metal. Storm will be heavier. Actions and barrels are same I believe.

On savage website it states storm weighs 5.65lbs

Really depends on which model of LWH. The 11/111 is blued with a walnut stock and the 16/116 is stainless with a synthetic stock. Neither the new Model 110 Lightweight Storm nor the older model 16/116 have the Accustock. The new model 110 Lightweight Storm has the LOP and cheek riser inserts but not the Accustock, per Savage's website.

Look real hard at the Barret. I have one in 6.5 CM and it is shooting below moa out to 600 yards.

My Kimbers are lighter certainly...but the Barrett shoots better for sure and even with a chunky 24 oz scope on there its right at 7 pounds.
