Anyone duracoated a stock - specifically kimber?

Looking at doing one of the aerosol kits... wondering if anyone has done it and if so if they like it/have any suggestions?

Also, mainly wondering if the stock texture will be covered or if it will still have a "sandy" finish?

I have dura coated a benelli stock, but I wouldn’t do it again. The grips and spots with any edge lost the duracoat within the first month of use while rounded or flat areas still look great after years of duck hunting abuse and sometimes neglect.
