How Much Thinsulate?

Looking for some advice here for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th seasons in Colorado. I'll be at 8-11k of elevation to give you an idea of possible temps and conditions. I'm looking for a boot that will keep my feet warm while horseback, but still be able to hike comfortably in.

I've got a pair of uninsulated Crispi Nevadas that are great, and had considered just getting the insulated version of that. However, I'm not sure 200g of thinsulate will cut it. I can't say I have much experience in late seasons hunts so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I'm about a month into wearing a pair of Kenetrek Mountain Extremes with 400g thinsulate. I've just come back from a hunt in conditions down to -2c and I found them very warm. I would happily wear these in much colder conditions. They are a step change improvement in warmth over my uninsulated Meindl Island Pro's. I plan on wearing them to Kyrg in November where it can get to -25C.

I'll have to give Kenetreks a look. Thanks for the input!

Anyone have other suggestions?
