Anybody have any experience with them? I see they have the Missoula model that is designed for wildland firefighting and appears like it may be a good hot weather boot. Reviews are good but couldn't find a weight listed. Thanks!

I used Haix combat boots for several years and always like them. Had several pair and never had them fall apart, unlike the POS Danners some seemed to be in love with. I don't have any experience with their civilian models, but at the time they made one of the best "combat boots" IMHO.

I ran the missoula last fire season. They held up great to a very active season. They are not stiff, which I like. However, they have a thick sole and a decently thick suede upper to protect your feet from heat so I would not consider them a good boot for hot weather.
