Just bought a pair to scurry around for my next hunts through November. Going to run them at the gym the next two days and as temps fall they will be my go to boot to fill some tags..there awfully pretty so I hate to get them dirtyđź‘Ť

A little dirt and some Elk blood would break them in real nice !!

Good looking boots for sure. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on them after you get some time in them.

Looking forward to hearing your review on these! So far, my insulated hunting boots are only 200g.. and that's not very much when I'm sitting still glassing in below freezing temps.

Took these boots out for the first trip in some rugged country. Prior to the hunt wore them once at the gym. Luckily my feet fared very well with no prior breakin. 8000 feet of ascents and descents, no blisters or hotspots, they are very stiff which helped keep me feet comfortable in terrain that required good lateral support. Traction was solid and ankle support is good for a boot with added insulation. Temps were warm outside of one day so my feet did sweat a fare amount with zero blisters. These boots will be nice next month in the snowđź‘Ť

On this round I had a chance to test the Outdry membrane of the boot. Another 7500 in ascents and descents. Started in conditions with wet sloppy Snow and eventually in snow close to three feet and temps in the high teens. Did get warm with some sweat on the ascents and developed one blister but with zero breakin period they are doing great in some rough conditions and providing enough support for my old ankles on some long daysđź‘Ť

Several more good days in these boots. Feet remained dry and warm in varying conditions from deep snow to rain. They will get some good use this winter shed huntingđź‘Ť

Fun day in north Idaho on snowshoes.....you get forget how difficult snowshoeing is in nasty conditionsđź‘ŤNo solid base 36 degrees and light rain a mess it was only crazy elk hunters would love thatđź‘ŚThe outdry waterproof membrane kept my feet dry the four hours I was shoeing along with solid ankle support in some stupid steep terrain.

Another two good days hiking in the snow was able to put my eyes on some timesđź‘Ť Boots continue to shed water very well standing in this small stream with no issues later in the day after four plus hours in wet snow was able to get my feet damp...imagine some from sweat covering milesđź‘Ťđź‘Ť they continue to provide very good lateral support on my ankles which is very important in a lot of loose snow.following a small bear this time of year is highly unusual and does not bode well for this non hibernator.

never easy staying in shape in the winter, so many dark days, but rays of sun were out yesterday on another snowshoe trip...if looking to expend tons of energy and build stamina hiking pound some snow to make it easier on dry ground ! another good day of getting the boots wet.

Hit a pull yesterday that reminds me I am not getting any younger:) been doing this climb for over a decade with my trusty lab Magnum pictured two years ago, but is too old to even get close to sniffing this hillside. Great view and workout, but not as much fun without my compadre and no luck on the sheds but will hit it again in a few weeks. On wolf track on my way. Got sweated up pretty good in the boots yesterday as there was no sitting. Loving the stiff sole in difficult country and on the shoes they are providing solid ankle support on some rough angles! For a boot that provides added warmth with 600 gr of thinsulate they are still reasonable on the weight scale to not make you think you are stuck in cement.

So 600gms not too warm for that much exertion? That’s surprising.

Also sorry about your ol dog. The older my dogs and horses get, the older I am...

Definitely did some sweatingđź‘Ť And if I was hunting a change of socks would have been along but never felt a river in my boot or issues for blisters. This day was in the low thirties with deep wet snow and a gentle vertical climbđź‘Ś
