Cabelas by meindl perfekt hikers insole?

I just picked up the above and in the box were what look like a pair of heavy mesh inserts, anyone have any idea on what they are for?2

I've used them under the insoles to take up extra space. They might add a little extra cushion but likely negligible. I have the perfekt hikers but the heel cup is a bit big for me.

My heel was moving a little, tied my laces using a heel lock seems to have corrected the issue.

That's right. I have two pairs and never used or needed them. Hope your boots serve you as well as mine have.

I love the large heel cups on the Meindl Perfekt Hunters!!!! Other boots give me heel blisters......never with Perfekt Hikers or Hunters. I prefer to use a heavy sock or two pair of light socks versus using the mesh insole as the insole seems to promote top of middle toe blisters for me.

That makes sense, are you supposed to put them on top or under the insoles?
