Salomon Quest Origins 2 gtx vs Quest 4D 2 gtx

Someone help me out here. Based on their scale, the Origins are more durable and are 25g heavier, but what is the real difference between the two models?
They both have a 4d chassis and contagrip.
They are both gore-tex boots.
Will the Origins have the same leaking issues that the 4D's seem to have?

Has no one ever had any experience with the Salomon Quest Origins?

I run a set of Origins. I clean and seal the leather pretty regularly and they have held up quite well. I find my feet occasionally get sweaty rather than wet from puddles and snow, but they are not going to be waterproof like rubber boots. I can't speak to the comparison with the 4D 2.

The fit is what sold me on them, I never have hot spots and the stiffness is just right for me. Had the origins for 2 years now, and still going strong.
