Trying to decide between the Kelvin Light Hoody and the heavier Kelvin Insulated Jacket. Anyone have them both and can give a comparison.

I had a normal Kelvin Light Jacket and traded it in for the regular Kelvin.

For me the Light was too, light. I needed more insulation, even with layering.

If you are an ounce counter and big into backpacking it might make sense depending on if you need the warmth or not.

Going to need more info on what type of conditions and type of hunts your planning before anyone can give a solid recommendation.

Looking for an item to wear during times of inactivity, glassing, slow walking, and camp. I currently have a Kuiu Superdown vest and want something with a hood and arms.

Temperature ranges? Backpack or truck camping? Time of year? State? The puffy I take for August Archery is different then what I take for a Mid November rifle tag in Colorado.
