Mountainsmith also released one this year for about 25 bucks, 4.75oz. I picked one up using my moose jaw rewards. It seems to be built well, only time will tell

I bought one of Jimmy's chairs too. Looking forward to trying it out on some shed hunting trips this spring.

I just got my shipping confirmation too and ill use it for turkey next month and post up a review for those interested. I have always wanted the Kifaru one but not for 3 times the original price.

Thing I don't like about the jimmy chair, have to use your trekking poles to use it or find stout sticks and its heavy.

Got mine today, I'll take it hiking this weekend and play around with it. Came with a small stuff sack, probably 9x9. I just took it out of the box when I got home but I can post more pics tomorrow for those interested.

If anyone in Western Wa has a Kifaru field chair or similar we could try and meet up to compare the two.

Got mine and set it up out in the yard. It's comfy to me. I don't have any other model to compare too. So it's fine for me.

My rain gear weighs 4 pounds so I replaced it with kuiu so I lost three pounds but added 8 ounces back with the chair. So I'm still ahead in my book.
