I've used a Dromedary for years. Looks like a Dromlite would save me about 5oz.

How is the durability on the Dromlite?

Anybody had one fail?

I have never used a black domedary. Only experience with Dromlite, but have yet to have one fail....other than me losing the cap one time. ;)

The new Dromlite material is high strength in spite of how it feels. I haven't had one fail yet but I've only had a year to use it. A lot of guys like the new material and from what MSR says it is as durable as the old lightweight cordura.

They changed design on the dromlite recently. They went from a light cordura to a plastic. Not sure how it works. Iv got the old lite as well as a new drom and old drom, all of them have held up better than any other bladder.

One low water hunt left 2 platypus and a camelback with holes, the drom lite saved the trip, since then Iv been mainly running the drom, nice not having to baby your bladder, especially the big ones
