Have not seen anything posted on these guys, so will post some info. Was looking for a cylinder stove for my new setup. I had a small kifaru box stove for my supertarp and it just wasn’t big enough to do much. You continually had to stoke it. After checking on various options I decided on the 18 inch stove from LiteOutdoors. So far very impressed. I ordered on the 4th and received on the 8th. Selling points for me.
1. A large door opening. This simply allows larger wood in the stove so a longer burn.
2. It offers a baffle to moderate efficiency if wanted.
3. It is very lite for an 18 inch stove. 2 pounds 8oz with 8 ft pipe
4. It is very well thought out and crafted down to the four small screw in legs that are angled for support.

Have not burned it yet and will do so when the new tipi arrives. Just another option we have👍

Love the large door for loading wood but found it also leaves a big opening for embers to pop out. When i tried to shut the door and control the embers it would starve for air and rattle the door. Never quite figured out how to balance the rattle vs embers coming out to get me and sold my LO Stove. Haven’t had the same problem with my Smith Cylinder Stove.

Pretty impressed with mine as well. Took me a couple days to figure out how to not burn us out of the Redcliff. Once I figured that out it was pretty dang near perfect.

I think Brennen has a great attitude towards helping customers.

I ordered the baffle and screen arrestor for mine. Baffle increases burn times.
Brennen also sells titanium sheeting so if a guy wanted to make a 12" using the end plates you already have- you could do that too.

I use this in a redcliffe too and it is way more than needed
I got it cause I thought it was the easiest of the stoves out there to set up.

I saw them too, I will try this, keeps it tight without over torqing and wrinkling the stove pip port area.

I ordered some materials from him to make my own and he was great to deal with. He helped me out and answered some questions I had. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from him again.

The springs are awesome the tension created allows no wing nuts simply get the tab over the end and it tightens👍Very nice

I like this little stove and think their are a lot of pros to its design. So far my only complaint would be how the body of the stove will warp, especially around the stove pipe hole. Even with the damper seated on the rods to support the pipe weight, and not over tightening the rods, you will still get some warpage/dents. Mostly aesthetic, but worth noting. I haven’t noticed this problem as much with the box design stoves. I also think the SO box stove assembles faster for me.
