Am thinking about getting one. I usually use a rented sat phone, but would like the weight reduction. Just not sure how well the Inreach works. Anyone have any personal feedback? Thanks

Don’t hesitate. Best decision you’ll ever make double that if you have a family and children.

Yeah, that is the only reason. They get worried. Just wondering if I will miss actually talking to them and hearing someone else voice as opposed to just mine for 7 days.

I absolutely love mine. The plans are reasonable, and you can suspend plans and not pay year round. I was surprised how easy it was to use, and how well it worked.
