From mall-cruising puddlesniffer....

...to badass backcountry brute. <g>

Pretty happy with the finished conversion.

Yeah, with the steel bumper, winch, 35" tires, 6" BDS lift, skid plates and all the other stuff the 3.0L eco diesel is getting 17 city, 22 hwy. That's after calibration and includes my offroading in four wheel drive.

Took a lot longer than expected to complete because when the Iron Bull bumper was sandblasted for color-matching, it looked like something Fred Flintstone chiseled by hand. All kinds of holes and gashes and the lines weren't even close! I was so pissed!!!

But Outlaw Offroad has a guy who said if I gave him the time to work on it during his free time he could fix it. He began grinding and lapping on it and after 5 weeks got the lines perfect. Once painted it looked as clean as the plastic bumper that was on it before. The guy was meticulous.

Where is the Mt Ops sticker? :D

I think you meant the glow in the dark Kuiu Ram head ;)

No not hating, I just picked up a 16' Silverado and went with the 4 inch BDS lift and Fox shock upgrades, Leer Camper, Bushwacker fender flares, and Nfab step bars so not hating, just couldnt resist.

I love the bumper. Wanted to do this to mine but if I did it would not longer fit in the garage as it barely fits now! Enjoy that bad boy and go get some mud on it!

No stickers (but the one bowhunter window decal), ripped of the chrome 1500, Limited and Eco Diesel emblems...just painted the ram and 4X4 to match. Pulled the chrome mirrors, door handles, grille, the ugly running boards (seen a few of those in the rocky backcountry) and anything else that made it look domesticated. A truck should not have chrome on it IMO. It should look like a glorified wheelbarrel. That's my take anyway
I upgraded/replaced all the lights and the HIDs with 4 LED lights in the bumper on are able to light up an entire mountain. Crazy bright.

Some interior pics...has every option that was available. Nice for those two day drives to the Colorado Rockies.

Good looking ride.
Is that carpet in the bed? Couldn't really tell in the pic. Do you generally have a canopy on it?

It's a Bedrug, ideal for my trucktent (insulates and makes it cozy) and keeps stuff from sliding around. I'm a big fan of them. Had one in my red truck for a decade and still looks nice. Great for moving stuff like furniture you don't wanna scratch too. Check the video out:

The Bedrug is perfect for those who camp like I do.
