On the Ranch

Just thought I'd share some Elk feeding pictures from this morning on the ranch that I help out on.Today was probably the last day for feeding as the hillsides have finally opened up.

Mike,I'm not sure,figure 6-10 bales a day since November,maybe 1,200 bales? wow that's crazy!

That's a lot of hay.. is some of the cost covered by outside sources ?... just curious, I've spent a lot of time on the local RMEF committee .. love those elk.

All was generously covered at the owners expense,this is around year 12 they've been doing it,all family members are hunters and they don't even ask for the land owner tags their entitled to,good people!

Awesome pictures. Seems like the elk are doing much better than the muley's with this winter we have had.
