The Frank isn't exactly a small area.... you might want to be more specific. I spent 3 falls and roughly 300 days living in the Frank years ago... but I only know certain areas.. but in general, elk population is gone to hell, deer are doing ok, and it isn't uncommon to go days without seeing an animal while we were covering 20+ miles via horses daily. Amazing country, but go into it for the adventure not for a trophy

Yep, I spent a Fall back there, the fires were horrific and animals very sparse.
