Any appliance repair technicians in here? My freezer decided to stop working the other day, and I need to fix it before I start killing things. It's a Frigidaire upright model number is LFFH17F3QWA.

The temperature control knob was set to 4 or 5 with the coldest setting being a 7. When I turned it up to 6 or 7 it would run just fine, but anywhere below that and it wouldn't run. Does it sound like the thermostat, or something bigger?

Go on Youtube, there are a bunch of trouble shooting videos on there. With a multimeter they are easy to check. Not really a lot that goes wrong with them. You can troubleshoot the entire thing in about 20 mins.

You don't need to know anything about a multimeter either. They show you how to set it and what numbers should come up on each part.

Whenever I feel a need to repair household appliances, I generally call Michael Hougaard for quick assistance, because he is one of the best electrician in the region.
