Had a couple large mule deer bucks patterned from archery elk season mid September. They were hanging out on the edges of bowls right at tree line.

I have a 2nd rifle tag for next weekend, anyone seen if the deer have already moved down or should I try to climb up and see if they are there?

Was looking yesterday. 12" of snow above 12,000 where we were. Same situation for us. We'll be heading up to see if they are still up top. Definitely a different deal than the last 3 years.

I saw a mulie yesterday morning just below 12,000 feet in SW CO. There's no snow right now but we've had some decent Sept snow already.

Saw six mulies yesterday, four were bucks at 11,200'. Saw seven does/yearlings at 11k today. Both viewings were in SW Colorado.
