I have been using the DT1 for the last 4 seasons and do not plan on changing anytime soon. Awesome set up and great price. I might buy another just to have.
That's what I want to know. I have a T3 I bought on a whim five months ago and love the bag; it's a bit small for elk but perfect for deer. The four external pockets are awesome as is the main bag. I was looking at a woodsman for the shelf capability but don't like the lack of external pockets on the pack.
I did a brief search about a Timberline with a shelf; seemed to get mixed reviews? I think my ideal pack would be a T3 and shelf on an external frame.
I sold my Kuiu pack system and am glad I did. That thing was squeaky.
My guess is that the Reckoning and AMR have outsold the DT1 and DT2 by such a large margin that it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to keep them around. However hopefully all these packs in the Rhino Den mean some good stuff coming out in the near future.
