Hi guys.

Just to show you what we've been working on....

Our new tripod is launching shortly utilising the same adapters and magnetic attachment system as our bipods.

We decided to go and try at longer ranges this morning to see if it was feasible to make longer shots while supported with a tripod only.

The following was shot at 366m in a blustery and fairly cold day. Whether it is ethical to take a standing shot at a deer at these distances is a different conversation, but as a proof of concept to show it is feasible it certainly seems to work.

Shot on a Blaser R8 Pro Success in .308 with a Swarovski Z8i scope

nice shooting!
Standing shots without a sling wrapped on a leg, I prefer to use the costa c-clamp hold to make a "bow" out of my rifle if you will. pushing down on the fore with the c-clamp and cheek weld against the tripod. I lock my legs in a classic wing chun inwards knee/clenched butt cheeks stance to stabilize my body. Nearly the same level of stability and precision of the sling wrap method, but way faster setup and tracking.
