A few years ago I did a homemade camo job on my Tikka synthetic stock, barrel and my scope. Looked good for awhile, but now needs to be redone. I want to have it professionaly dipped. Anyone have advice on how I safely remove the old paint? It's not real heavy. I used discretion when I did the original job.

I've used MEK to remove paint from a rifle before. Use it in well ventilated area. I just got a rag wet with the stuff and started scrubbing. Worked great.

If you are going to paint again and a rough surface is an asset then find someone to media blast or dry ice blast at a low pressure.
