Spray paint camouflage on synthetic stocks?

Yes & yes.

Stock prep is definitely key. Make sure you at least scuff the surface & thoroughly degrease.
I've painted several, all with excellent results. Base color, various camo layers, texture layer(s I like Rustoleum stone & webbing) & then 3-6 coats of satin clear coat.

I don't have a reason not too however I choose not to clear mine - I prep with a Scotch Brite or steel wool scuff followed by a good wash down of Isopropyl alcohol.

Thanks for the reply’s. That was the path I was heading down and just wanted to check. We’re doing the boy’s 10/22’s and they are both turning out pretty good.

Stock prep is definitely important. I do clear mine afterwards. I used Alumahyde from Brownells and have really been impressed vs Krylon. Webbed it after paint then cleared. Has held up amazingly well for 3 years now.
