Someone got ahold of my credit card and bought me an EoTech and shipped it to my house. I called the online retailer and they said they've gotten a few bogus orders placed like this for the exact same model of sight.

I reported it to wells Fargo as a an unauthorized charged... Now I'm waiting to see if I can keep it or if Wells Fargo wants me to return it for a refund. The way I see it they let me card get compromised they should cover it lol.

Just kinda odd that someone would do this. Definitely not a lame excuse I told the wife.

Anyone else have someone make an unauthorized charge on your account and have the item shipped to you? Let alone it being something you need?

Just curious had you bought from this retailer before where they would have had your card info?

Yep, got a fancy Bluetooth thermometer once. The kind for when you're sick. It was one of a few bogus purchases on my card a couple years ago that included itunes. No idea why the morons had it shipped to me.

Perhaps someone may have had your credit card info and address, and tried placing an order and intercepting the package at your house?

That is wild. My wife was a victim of credit fraud but we never received any of the items the scumbags bought.

The scumbag thought the Delivery man would just leave it on your front porch, and he could walk up and take it before anyone in your house could get to it. Had something similar on the news last night, the front porch cam caught the delivery man leave it on the front door step, then a few minutes later the thief walked up and took the package. Somehow the owner found out the same day, and realized he didn't order anything, and learned his card was used to fraudulently charge some electronics and ship to his house. Had he not found out, he wouldn't have known anything was up until his credit card bill came in a few weeks later.

EOTech sights are crap. Finally removed mine with magnifier and replaced it with a Trijicon 1X8...no looking back.

I agree, Eotechs are crap, and their battery life is horrendous. We use the Aimpoint Patrol Rifle Sight on our SRT rifles at the SO, and have never had any trouble with them. The battery life is forever (3 years), even if you leave them on continuously. Not so with Eotech. We found the batteries died quickly even if you turned them off before you put them away.

Well I got it. Not sure if I should keep it or sell it for a one of those more cost effective night vision scopes, aimpoint, or the new Sig 365. Wells Fargo did cover the charge... The two dot reticle is almost too busy. And I've already got a 1-6 VX6 on my AR...

I kind of looked at that ATN night vision at Scheels. It looks kinda complicated but I'm heading to TX in a few weeks for a lot of pig hunting. And I could have really used it back home for yotes. They seem have good reviews.

That Aimpoint T-2 would be sweet or even a patrol...

Check out the Trijicon MRO for another nice red dot option.
