Blaser M18

The new Blaser M18 rifle with a Mauser action for 699.00. Im thinking of ordering one in the 6.5 creedmoor . If the quality is any thing like my F3 shotgun .

Look like a nice rifle. Pretty sure they will carry the Mauser banner, and they will not carry any Blaser markings. Blaser is all about their straight pull action and is trying to keep the brands somewhat separate since Mauser is all about more traditional bolt action designs.

Like to know how it shoots if you get one. I would suspect it will be a decently finished rifle, but not on par with your F3 or Mauser's upper crust offerings. Gotta cut cost somewhere, and usually it is fitting and finish. The detachable pad for storage in the buttstock is nice. Not unique, but better than a wasted hollow space.

I would love one of their M03's with a .243, .340 Wby, and .416 Rem barrels.
