What would you do with several months off (from work)?

I appreciate all the replies-well almost all of them. PF JW & Ridge Ghost's point of a plan is something I almost overlooked. I will plan my trips and try to keep a journal of my travels. I might look into a Go-pro or similar and or a good camera for still shots.

Not sure I will make it to Alaska but the boundary waters sound pretty good. I am going to start some serious planning now.

If I was in your shoes I would do the PCT, the Appalachian trail or the continental divide trail. You’d be done by elk season.
