So if I am correct 160+ acres in Montana or Wyoming qualifies you for landowner deer and antelope tags and 640+ acres qualifies you for elk landowner tags. If you own either 160 or 640+ acres in a draw only zone do you still get landowner tags or do you have to draw? Also what draw zone of Montana or Wyoming would you want to own property in that has good elk and deer hunting?

You must have so many animals days on your 160 Acres in Wyoming, verified by GW. Some areas are a draw and tags are hard to get even for landowners. Limited to 2 landowners tags in Wyoming.

I have a buddy that has a bunch of farm land on the high line in mt. Landowner preference fornspped goats doesn't guarantee them a tag. They usually don't get one.

My family has obtained the landowner tags in wy. It’s not as easy as buying land. It requires lots of traffic by the particular game species.

As land owners, we still have to apply being part of limited draw area.
