Very good condition. It is currently topped with a Leupold VXII 4-12x50 with Long Range Duplex reticle and Leupold mounts. I can sell just the rifle or the whole shebang. The rifle will come with approximately 4 or 5 boxes of ammunition as well as a bunch of brass. I intended to reload for this rifle so I did gather some brass in addition to factory ammo I've purchased; however, I did not ever buy any dies or reload for this rifle.

Not currently looking for trades unless it's a newer Kimber Montana.

Please note: I will not split up brass or ammunition separately.

Rifle, scope mounts, and ammunition are $725 obo

Whole setup as seen is $1050 obo.

Will ship on your dime or we can figure something out.300 RUM1.jpg300 RUM2.jpg300 RUM ammo.jpg

I have had a 700 BDL 300 RUM like this since they came out. I have only shot 180 Partions in it and I would say the recoil is about like a 300 Win and probably less than a 45 70 with 300 grain bullets. If you shoot magnums much the recoil is not really bad. Very accurate and bad ass long range elk rifle for the money here. I wouldn't sell mine.

chuck Hawks recoil tables say 180gr bullet @3230. 8.5# rifle is 32.8 pounds of recoil.

I'm not sure how well you can see it, and I did fail to mention it, but there is a limbsaver pad installed. I couldn't believe how big of a difference it made and I would liken it to somewhere between a 30-06 and 300 win mag. It took most of the sharpness out of the recoil. I don't know how well it would hold up with extensive use but for getting it sighted in, it was pretty slick.
