Rumor has it Berger is releasing two new bullets

245 grain 30 cal bullet, BC over .8

329 grain 338 cal bullet, BC over .9

Wow, those must be some super long bullets. Wonder how many rifles are going to be able to shoot them (barrel twist).

Those heavy 30's would be awesome in a 300 RUM. But I doubt they would stabilize in the 1-10 twist, so no factory rifle could shoot them.

The 245gr 30-cal might be worth trying in a 1/10 twist.

FWIW, I've shot 240gr Sierra Matchking out of a 1/10 twist 30-06. Excellent accuracy past 1000 yards at 2610 fps MV.

You'll be flinging those 245's out of your 308.....you know you want to!:cool:

Just seen the announcement from shot on these 329's my 338 snipetac is gonna ve trying them for sure when they come out. If a 1:9.4 won't do it I will have to get another one spun up in a high 8 or straight 9 twist.

So does anyone have a time line on new additions to the EOL line?

Tentative late summer to fall 2018 BUT we still have a lot of testing to do! No details on twist rates required yet . Keep an eye on the BERGER WEBSITE for any future announcements on new bullet releases!
