Yup I did test the 170's and had good results out to 300 yards. I was using a 270 win with 1/10 twist. Now after the testing in that thread I was able to shoot further out and guess what? Not a single target hit, they all destabilized and tumbled who knows where.

I would not recommend them in a 1/10 twist barrel, the 165's from Matrix stabilized fine but they are now no longer made.

I'll have more testing with the 170's this year out of a 1/8 270wsm.
