Just finished putting it together. Pretty darn happy with the way it turned out. The first firearm I ever bought was a T3 in .30-06 more than 11 years ago, and I'm stoked to add another to the stable. I haven't been able to take it to the range yet, but I'm sure it'll perform very well.

Specs:
Tikka T3X CTR, 24" 6.5 Creedmoor
Nightforce SHV 4-14x50 F1
Seekins Precision 30mm rings
Mountain Tactical AICS bottom metal
Mountain Tactical knurled bolt knob
Mountain Tactical hardened action screws
Yodave trigger spring
Area 419 Hellfire muzzle brake
Harris BRM-S bipod

That's a pretty sweet set up. I've never owned a Tikka but have been eyeballing a few of their long ranger. Let us know how it shoots!

I used the Krylon Camo in Brown. Easy as a paint job gets.

Nice looking gun. I really like 24" barrel CTR as well. Seems to dang near always put 5 shots into a 1/2" and often 3 shots tighter than that with both factory Hornady Precision ammo and my handloads with the same 143 ELDX. Only difference is my handload is over 200 fps faster. :)

Have taken it out to almost 1100 a couple times and over 800 a few times as well. Only has two caribou to its name so far, but hope to add the kill count here in a couple weeks taking it to Kodiak for deer. :)

Congrats on the rifle man!

Your going to love it. Mine is shooting the 140gr hornady eld-m factory loads pretty consistently 1/2 MOA at about 2550fps (I have a 20" tube") just started load development and seeing very promising results with 41.6gr of IMR4350, CCI BR2 primers, Hornady brass and ELD-M 140gr. Just working on seating depths now. You can also pick up some more accuracy with dremeling out the stock a bit (I had one contact point) and making sure your torque is 45 in/lbs on your action screws.

With the factory loads a couple weekend ago we were shooting out to 1300 and 1700. At 1300 I was getting consistent impacts on a 15"x15" steel plate and at 1700 was getting 1 out of 5 on target but ran out of elevation on my turret so was having to use hold over. that being said I was stoked to have an impact on my cold bore shot at 750

This is my first Tikka but definitely not my last. This CTR shoots lights out!
