Depending on what ballistic calculator you're running it'll account for it if you enable it. I've been using the app "Shooter" for 7 years without a hitch.... the Sig Kilo 2400ABS I'm using now also accounts for it if you have the correct wind inputs.

Yea the 2400 it's pretty slick but I find myself falling back on my experience rather than trusting the Kilo. I'm always making my wind calls when I'm behind the scope watching mirage so i don't go back and enter wind into the Kilo.

Funny you say that, i leave the Kilo on 10mph 270* wind call and adjust on that based what I'm feeling/seeing. Though if I had a dedicated LR rock busting day I'd probably try to get more quantitative data on the wind, but my time has been so limited right now....
