I have a VX-3 Leupold 4.5X14 CDS on a fast twist Tikka 223. I sighted in with WW 69 grain match ammo. Shooting little clovers at 100 yards. Popped on the CDS dial and discovered this weekend on a coyote at 540 yds that I am out of adjustment at 350 on the CDS dial. Since it is coming up it is not hitting bottom on the cap so must be out of adjustment internally on the scope.

Do I need an MOA rated slope on my base? How many MOA? What and from whom do I buy? They are Warne bases now with Warne picatinny style rings.

Thanks guys...I am mainly a bowhunter so only technical so far on rifles.

Yup, 20moa rail is all that is needed. Take your pick, some are more money than others, I have both expensive ones and cheaper ones and have never had an issue with any of them. If anything, I had to bed my nightforce 20 moa rail (which is more money than EGW ) because it was not sitting flat on my receiver.
