I thought I would post up the new build. If you followed along with the first "The 300 Project" it was a very successful build, the only issue was I didn't love the stock. But my goal was to make it as light as possible for a long range rifle. This time I went for a more practical LR rifle while still looking to save weight where I could. So here are the parts
Lone Peak TI Razor action(same one I had in the first 300 Project.)
McMillan edge fill game scout. With adjustable cheekpiece. I didn’t use the McMillan guts in the cheekpiece. I used the LoggerHead guts. They are more betta. Dipped in Kryptek Altitude by Hydro-Dip
Wyatt 4 inch box.
McGowan barrel 1/9 twist#5 fluted by Kampfelds at 26 inches
Trigger Tech Special
T2 Terminator break
Hawkins Rings and bottom metal.
The scope is not yet been determined.
Whaley Precision put it all together.
Not a fan of how the suppressor recoils. So I had Matt put on a T2.
I have been testing loads for the last to weeks. With the new Sierra SMKs in 230 in the lead at the moment. But I’m not totally decided yet.
230 SMK, 230 Berger, 225 ELD-M
Best group so far with the SMKs doing 3040 with an ES of 10.
