I carry one on my rifle and have enjoyed it over the last 18 months. It is definitely the bipod that covers all situations, but comes with a small weight penalty to allow for the flexibility. I don't mind paying the penalty as large amounts of elevation gain aren't usually in the cards for me. Nearly zero complaints from me.

Fit and finish are spot on and it locks up very nice on a pic rail with just the push of a button. The option on the leg angle which allows you to split the legs wide is one of my favorite features. Between it and a rear bag I have a rock solid set up.

Let me know if you have any specific questions.
