I am leaving for a high country bear hunt next week and need to have a plan for my hide and skull if i'm successful. Any recommendations in the Seattle area? I'm Looking for someone to flesh the hide, turn ears, face, paws, and send to the tannery. I am not rich and do not need it to be perfect. I will not be making a rug.

What is a normal price for these services? My hunting budget is already stretched too thin.

Thanks in advance!

I think I payed $450 to get my bear tanned.
The thing about tanning thru a taxidermist is he makes no money on that. They dont make much on a rug even. So your basically asking him for a favor.
Fold it skin to skin/ roll it and freeze it. Then save some money till you can afford to have it put up.
Idk anyone i Seattle but know a great guy in Oregon if you want to drive a few hrs.
