Went ahead and bought the Traeger Pro 22 grill. Cooked some of my 2017 Elk Back Straps on it the other day. Came out sweet.
I did a rub on them, then made a mustard sauce I spread on one side and seared them in the pan then grilled them on the Traeger.
The grill did fantastic, and I will do a front shoulder roast next wrapped in bacon with a rub and I will then reverse sear it on other grill, but right now I am doing my first set of jerky strips with a home made marinade.
I am using pecan pellets in it for the elk, so far so good.
My friend got me a steal on this, I just couldn't turn it down and glad I didn't.
