Hey guys. Thought it would be fun to start a poll asking our community which game meat was their favorite to eat. I am limited to 10 options, so I thought it was appropriate to use the 10 big game species we have discussion forums for on our website.

I apologize to anyone who loves nothing more than a juicy predator/varmint steak.

No question about it, mountain goat all the way! No one in my family would disagree with this vote either, and it's always a bit of a sad day when the last package of goat meat gets pulled from the freezer. We eat more moose than anything else but that's only because there's so much of it. Dall's sheep would be second but Sitka blacktail is right up there as well.

Mountain goat is my favorite! The burger is out of this world. I married a city girl and she agrees. Last year I ground the burger with no fat added, probably 98% lean and it sticks together and is moist, I'll do that from now on. Made pulled pork style sandwiches out of back strap, unreal good.

My moose is fantastic! I thought elk was as good as it gets until I cooked up my first moose tenderloin! I actually prefer a velvet MD over any whitetail now, maybe because I grew up living off WTs.

None of the above. Best BY FAR is bison, I prefer mine rare but medium is okay too.

I put elk but I haven't tried a lot of the game on the list. Antelope is a close second for me. I'd love to try some moose, sheep and goat but I haven't been that lucky yet.

I love antelope meat. It's a bummer that they yield so little meat compared to other animals because I prefer it to elk and deer.

Didn't see it in the poll, but I tried axis deer once it was hands down the best meat I have ever tasted.
