Me and my 15 year old son are trying to plan our first ever elk hunting trip next year and I was looking at unit 751. I saw a post on forum where you said you hunted 75 amd 751 and was wondering if you had any advice about the area. We want to backpack in and set up camp away from other hunters. Would this be a good unit for first time or should we look elsewhere? It will be OTC 2nd rifle. We will be coming from texas and it seems so overwhelming trying to pick a unit to concentrate on.
