I purchased leftover tags for Unit 20 the last two years, though they went quick last year. I've killed a 12 and 14 1/4 inch buck. They don't typically get to 14 1/4 in this unit, the game warden I spoke with was shocked to see it. I did see a couple that were close, one in a strip of public land I couldn't get my dad on and one just off on private land. Also, there is limited public land, not sure if your willing to spend the money to find some private land to hunt, but it would be worth looking into.
