My family's place is on the other side of the interstate. I recognize the name from landowner maps, and I bet my uncle knows them. There is good mule deer up towards the Hills. I did notice more muleys lower last year during an antelope hunt. Private land is going to really help. I went with a bud that drew a bull tag a few years ago, and the deer hunting pressure was intense. We hunted the Meisner BM mostly. Lots of small bucks hit the dirt. Might want to consider an antelope tag too. Usually no huge bucks in that unit, but I did kill one that missed book by 3/8 of an inch. Any idea how much property they have? Good thing is most folks up there give permission if asked.
