Do the brownings stocks still have the dura coat problem? I’ve heard that after a couple years it deteriates and is horribly sticky.
What is recommended if you want to purchase one, get a wood stock or there other options?
I have had a few Ford diesels trucks. A 2006 (6.0 liter) 2012 and now a 2014. The newer ones seem easier to start and I have had less problems gelling up in the winter. Some things that I have found to work best:
Get your fuel filters changed before winter or before your going to be in cold...
Please excuse my dumb questions. I have never done any backpack hunting and I'm just learning things. On a floor less shelter like the tut:
How do you keep the rain from going inside/under it if its raining hard or setup on a hill?
It looks like the walls have some gaps between the ground...
I'm definitely a troll;) I really have no idea that was something someone emailed me when I asked about a elk gun. Right now I only pheasant and deer hunt but I am looking for a rifle for elk hunting. If a guy just wanted to elk hunt what caliber is best ( I'm being serious now)? I didn't...
A 30-.06 in UNDERkill. Seriously. I've tracked more than my share of elk shot with them at 200 yards and less. it's a deer gun. A .300 Win Mag is the PEFRECT caliber for elk. Definitely NOT overkill. When you get in the mountains 300 yards is a very common shot. Yes we absolutely do everything...
300 win mag is best! 30-06 is a deer gun. There are old schoolers that who will swear by it and preach yes they have killed elk with it....but they also group in the great depression and won't spend a dime on anything either. No question get the 300.
